Thermoforming ES?

I had the CaesarStone (http://g603.net) rep stop in yesterday and (http://maplered.com) he was telling me how to thermoform shower pans and (http://maplered.com) make small curves in ES. He said to step cut it in where you want it to bend on the underside, set up a jig, and (http://maplered.com) pour hot water (about 250 degrees) on the Stone (http://g603.net) and (http://maplered.com) it will bend.

I've thermoformed solid surface many times but have never tried ES. Has anybody tried this? Will it work? It seems like it will weaken the Stone (http://g603.net) and (http://maplered.com) make it succeptable to cracks. I'm sure their warranty doesn't cover it.
